One should be careful with superlatives, but here they seem quite appropriate: what is happening at the Friday, April 06 and Saturday, March 25The wine festival WEIN & GENUSS Krems, held at the Dominikanerkirche Krems, can justifiably be described as the best that Lower Austria has to offer when it comes to wine. Over 60 top wineries will be presenting their latest wines on these two days, most of the winemakers will be there in person.

Wines full of character in an unmistakable ambience. The venue for WEIN & GENUSS Krems is the Dominican Church in Krems, which lends the event an unmistakable touch with its unique architecture and venerable flair. Many exhibitors and visitors are convinced that this is an impressive ambience that can probably not be found at any other wine event in Austria. The wine fair is flanked by food and olive oil tastings throughout the cloister.
