Tour de Vin 2024
Saturday, 4. May - Sunday, 5. May
They are among the best winegrowers in the country: When the members of the Traditionsweingüter Österreich invite you to the Tour de Vin every year, wine lovers love to come. Of course also to the Kamptal, where many traditional wineries are at home.
A great anniversary to celebrate this year: The Traditionsweingüter were the first to launch open cellar door days – based on an idea by founding member Peter Dolle. The recipe for success has remained the same: Guests should be able to chat with the winemakers, taste wines and buy them straight away. In addition, each winery offers a supporting program, be it cellar tours and vineyard hikes, rarity tastings or exhibitions. Guest winemakers are often invited, and culinary delights are also a high priority: from finger food for the small appetite in between to a menu, pretty much everything is on offer.
For many years now, the Magnum Party has been the highlight for those who want to enjoy wine and company on a Saturday evening. The Minorite Church in Krems-Stein was chosen as the location this time, with music provided by a live band and DJ Dietmar Hiedler aka Terra Cotta.
The young ÖTW members from the Thermenregion, Carnuntum and Vienna regions will kick off the Tour de Vin with a tasting of local and Erste Lage wines on Friday at the Baden Municipal Theater
