Saturday, September 24 at 6 pm at Weingut Fred Loimer: Susanne Scholl (www.susannescholl.at), reads from her new novel “Warten auf Gianni” (Waiting for Gianni) (Residenz Verlag 2016).

8 pm in the basement of the Renner family’s stairwell: Radek Knapp has placed the Viennese heating meter reader Ludwik Wiewurka at the center of his latest novel “Der Gipfeldieb” (Piper, 2015) and reads from it.

10 pm at Ursin Haus Langenlois: Reinhard P. Gruber (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FRbkfDuJHC4) will read “Aus dem Leben Hödlmosers”, his cult book from 1973, and give a short course on “Das Schilcher-ABC” and “Einfach essen! Cookbook for the hard times”. He will be musically supported by the duo Walther Soyka & Karl Stirner(www.soykastirner.com), who know how to inspire with harmonica and zither and “conjure the audience back and forth into undivided, finite time”.

Sunday morning 11 am in the courtyard of the Nidetzky family in good weather, in bad weather at Ursin Haus angenlois: The Wienerlied singers “Die Strottern” (www.diestrottern.at) together with Daniel Glattauer (www.daniel-glattauer.de) will provide an amusing musical and literary Sunday morning during a champagne matinée (Steininger winery).
