Exceptional cuisine paired with that special sparkle – that’s what awaits guests on December 8 at “Landhaus Bacher” in Mautern an der Donau – awarded 99 points and four forks by Falstaff, making it one of the very best restaurants in Austria. Lisl Wagner-Bacher’s son-in-law Thomas Dorfer has designed a top-class menu in six courses that impressively demonstrates the high standard of the house. The host Klaus Wagner and his daughter Susanne Dorfer personally initiated the epicurean feast to express their passion for sparkling wines. Together with sparkling wine pioneer Karl Steininger, he has come up with a sparkling accompaniment to each course using his top sparkling wines, including some precious rarities.
