Riesling Seeberg Kamptal DAC Reserve 2013

13 % vol. alc., LUX screwdriver

Tasting notes Steininger family

2013 is the first vintage in which we have made a wine from the Seeberg vineyard. The Seeberg site has 8 terraces with approx. 90% stone content and almost no humus.

A typical Riesling through and through. Shows a wonderful minerality on the palate, stone fruit notes such as apricot and white vineyard peach are clearly noticeable, fine and delicate with a long finish.

Wine year 2013

2013 from one extreme to the other:

First, some winegrowers had to contend with the floods in June, followed by extreme summer heat. September and October were generally very even and the night temperatures were a little cool. Botrytis pressure was generally relatively low. The high acidity values guarantee a corresponding shelf life.
