Wine year 1993

A prolonged winter initially caused a delay in vegetation, which was quickly made up for in April due to a rapid improvement in the weather. After that, the vines grew vigorously. A dry May favored early flowering. July was cool, with only a few days of sunshine. Compared to the powerful, low-acid, high-alcohol 1992 vintage, the new wine brought more fruit than power, more elegance than substance, accompanied by harmonious acidity.
