Wine year 1998

Favorable weather conditions in the summer months, the grape set was good and without any major damage due to trickling. The weather remained changeable and the harvest proved to be very laborious in order to harvest healthy grapes, even though longer windows of sunshine repeatedly offered good conditions in all wine-growing regions. Both the white wines and the red wines benefited from the advance in ripeness in August.
