Anyone who has time should come to Kamptal at the moment. The vegetation in the vineyard is beautiful. Flowering has recently finished and it is said that the harvest starts 100 days after flowering. An old country saying that usually proves to be true. We are very happy with the weather so far, enough rainfall and nice warm weather. A “normal” year from the time of flowering and vegetation. 

The first 2022s have been filled since January and are fruity and fresh. Since May, there has also been Ried “Loisium” from the 2022 vintage, which is always the first of the stronger wines we bottle. All we can say is: “Makes you want more!” 2022 looks set to be a promising vintage. We will soon be starting to fill the Erste Lagen, which can be enjoyed from September.
