At the moment we are clearing one of our vineyards. Every year, a small part of our vineyards is cleared and replanted. Vines are only harvested from the 4th year after planting. These then remain in production for around 25 years, after which the vines break down again slightly. To ensure that we can continuously achieve good yields that also produce high-quality wines, we have to uproot a small proportion of the old vines each year and plant new ones. Ideally, this should be done in late fall. We then usually do the replanting in the spring.
